In summary Dr. Parikh is highly skilled, his medical education consists of nine years of postgraduate training at major medical institutions around the country. He initially completed a five-year General Surgery residency at the State University of New York. This residency was followed by three years of specialized residency training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He also completed a one-year research fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio prior to residency training.
