Helen Kwak is very knowledgeable about my medical history and always is courteous and interested in my experience.

The Rheumatology Department is excellent with medical staff that are caring & kind. I enjoy my visits.

Even though Helen seemed to be rather distracted today, I guess you'd call it, she's always polite and courteous with my questions.

I asked my provider about how to receive a handicap placard because I was having such a difficult time with my illness. She immediately knew how to help me. She filled out the forms and provided them to me. She also explained to me what to do with the paperwork.

My care provider was very attentive, patient, and understanding. She makes me feel like she cares about her patients. She referred to some of my medical history which felt like she was well prepared for my appointment. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family but the wait time for this office is unfortunately longer than most. Occasionally, the receptionist or appt scheduler can get me in pretty early while other times I've had to wait for a longer period of time which is hard, especially if you're looking for immediate pain relief. Even though it's sometimes hard to schedule an appt with her and even harder to schedule an appt with the doctor she works under/with, I value their demeanor and bedside manners. It is extremely hard to find a provider who will actually listen to your current or past problems. This provider definitely excels at that.

She provided advice contrary to the advice from the infusion center about whether dental work should be completed prior to having a Reclast infusion.

I thought that a NP would spend more time with me. It was listed as a 20 min visit. It was actually probably a ten min visit. It was very cut and dried. No personal touches at all. She mentioned that Imtake calcium and Vit B. I said no, I don't take calcium. She went directly on to the next appt. No explanation as to why she didn't know that I don't take calcium, or questions as to why I don't. No Interest apparently. Onward to my next appt and out the door. I'm

Helen Kwak provided an excellent, very professional care while also maintaining a level of personal concern about my progress that engendered an excellent sense of confidence on my part .

Since my very recent diagnosis of scleroderma, both Dr. Noh and Helen Kwak have been informative, professional, and very caring when it comes to how I'm feeling with all of this. They both ensure that I understand the meds I'm taking and what the next steps will be. I feel fortunate having these two with me on my healthcare journey.

While this is the nurse practitioner, I consider her very competent and don't mind seeing her when Dr. Pang is not available.
