Dr Kovacs is one of the most thorough doctors I have been to.

Dr. Kovacs is the best. He knows me and my medical issues, provides the best care and support to improve my heath outcomes. He changed my ability to manage a chronic medical condition. I always feel so seen, cared for and supported. I am thankful to have him as my doctor.

I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I was able to get an appointment. It had been 2 years since I had seen Dr. Kovacs. The office staff was kind and efficient. I was given two forms to complete prior to seeing the Dr., however I was called to go to an exam room prior to answering more than 10% of the requested information to update my chart. Dr. Kovacs came into the exam room right after vitals were taken. Less than 20% of the update form had been completed. I felt confident that Dr. K had reviewed notes from my visit to the ER on [Date]. Had I been able to complete the health update form, the Dr.would have had a more complete understanding of events since the ER, including the results of imaging and visits with other physicians. After more than a decade of trying to figure out what was going on with my body, it was encouraging that Dr. Kovacs was at last able to put some of the moving pieces' together. While the general outcome was positive, the overall experience was less than ideal. I felt frustrated and silenced' by Dr. Kovac's rapid-fire, one-sided style of communication. While I was asked If I had questions, far too quickly, Dr. Kovacs closed the space for me to respond-clearly the Dr was the expert, and the fact that I am highly involved in my health care; I take time to learn about conditions affecting my health and advocate for my needs, I did not feel included, and felt Dr. Kovacs might have benefited from information on the health update that I was not allowed to complete. I'd the Dr wasn't interested in the update, why should patients go through the effort to complete the form?

Excellent rheumatologist. He listens to my concerns as a clinician, and as an advocate of overall health of body and mind as well.

I am very happy to be seeing Dr. Kovacs. He is patient and attentive and was quick to diagnose my pseudo gout (I had never heard of it before). His thorough explanation gave me a complete understanding, and the treatment he recommended has helped quite a bit with pain management. THANK YOU!

Dr. Kovacs prescribed a medicine that was least likely to cause side effects that correlated with existing medical issues. He submitted information for medication authorization and additional information following a denial. The medication was approved. All of this happened very quickly. Impressive!

Dr is to the point. Knowledgeable yet doesn't explain without probing. I have had to say as he is trying to go out the door I have a few more questions. He does come back but feels rushed and sometimes I leave wishing I had a few more things answered. Otherwise he is in and out quite fast.

Dr.Kovacs is both competent and compassionate. On my first visit with him earlier in March it was an initial appointment in which I was referred to him because of some bloodwork. He explained everything to me thoroughly and then ordered a variety of tests. On my follow up appointment [Date] he explained the results of the tests also very thoroughly. I greatly appreciate his style as a provider. I asked a lot of questions and he spent time answering them and trying to help me get to the bottom of what is happening with me medically. It is difficult to find providers who spend time with their patients as he did while being treated with kindness, dignity, and respect. Even though we weren't able to get answers to my medical mystery through the tests that he ordered, he encouraged me to keep seeking resolution. I felt heard and validated. I am very grateful to have him on my care team!
