After my first visit with Dr. Castro,I was so favorably impressed with him that I rated him on Google.I have been brainwashed to tell my physicians what is currently wrong with me, and I make written notes to take with me to my appointment (preventive medicine).Dr.Castro was professional and friendly during this appointment.Both of us were pleased that his prescribed urolic was working, and I was now gout free.I started to go over my list.He answered a few questions, and then suddenly said."I am a rhuemotogist.I don't cover those other areas.I will see you in 6 months" I had planned on discussing my spinal stenosis, scoliosis,my neuropathy in my legs and feet, my osteoarthritis, and pain related to all of them.I thought that's what a rheumatologist also treats.I was wrong.As a result,I don't plan on returning to Dr. Castro.I still think he is an excellent physician: however, no longer for me.

I do appreciate Dr Castro's care for patients like me. I went there with the skin rash, which looked like psoriasis arthritis. He helped me all he could and when it is turned out not about rheumatoid, he referred me to a good dermatologist.

The provider is always very thorough and patiently listens to any concern I may have. This particular appointment I did have a concern about some (new) pain. I was feeling in my hand. He examined my hand, and knew exactly what was causing the pain. He then thoroughly explained it with the help of a "cast"of the inside of the hand. He was able to to treat it with a cortisone injection, and I'm already feeling better.

I'm very pleased with Dr. Casro-Rueda.The Providence patient app is not very intuitive. It could benefit from being more thorough in the types of questions it can handle and with more specificity in its responses.

Trust Dr Castro and he looks at my health history in recommending meds and wellness recommendations.
