Dr. Mehrnaz Hojjati is a board-certified rheumatologist practicing for over 15 years. Dr. Hojjati is an associate professor of medicine with expertise in vasculitis and lupus. Previously, she ran the vasculitis clinic at Loma Linda University Medical Center. She also directed the Lupus Clinic at Cleveland Clinic prior to moving to California. Her mission is to provide the best care possible for her patients as if they are all her own family.

After over an hour wait I felt hurried and like she just wanted to be done. She asked me questions when the answers were on the screen in front of her. There were med sales people with lunch waiting and I felt like she might have just wanted to get to that.

Provider was very thorough. I was afraid to see a rheumatologist with the fibromyalgia I have but she showed understanding and concern. She took my complaints seriously and really took them into account. She ordered tests, scans, referrals, and physical training. I've never been so well taken care of. Dr Hojjati is very knowledgeable, but I find it hard to relate to her. She sits as far away as possible and spends the time using the computer. She eventually explains things, but documentation is clearly the most important aspect of the visit. I've never been seen on time. However, she did smile at the end of the visit. First time.

I've been very happy with this specialist. She always makes sure my medications are up to date and always there when I need them. I never have to call about refills. Appointments are usually made in advance and if a reschedule is needed it's handled right away! Dr. Hojjati really seems to care about her patients. I don't feel like a number and I'm not rushed in and out. She always takes her time! She is a great doctor!
