I am so happy that I have Samantha Hughes for my health care. She is wonderful and makes me comfortable to have her on my team.

FNP Hughes is highly knowledgeable and provided expertise with my care for my systemic lupus and related conditions and ordered blood tests and other procedures to ensure the best treatment available. She is kind, patient and readily provides understandable directions to keep me in the best health possible. I am extremely grateful for her time and guidance.

She was very thorough with everything and very helpful with letting me know what we will be working on after I see the kidney doctor and see what he wants to do and we will take it from there.

I was very concerned about my condition because I had made complaints to other doctors for a long time and have been ignored. This visit answered my questions and erased some of my concern.

Samantha conducted a very thorough examination with extensive questions about health issues with deceased parents, siblings, and children. Took a lot of time to pull up information on the web regarding potential disease, what to look for and what next steps for testing will be. Throughout the entire visit, she was excellent in all respects. I'd say this was most thorough Dr. (Nurse Practitioner) I have had. My questions and concerns were answered, follow-up tests, printed summary of visit ... And one last item, this was my first visit to this Dr.'s office, during the normal check-in with weight, PB, and O2 check, my "height" was measured, which has not been done in maybe 30 years. Very thorough.

Samantha is an excellent, caring doctor. Always listens to what I have to say. She is the BEST!

Samantha Hughes is so through. If I have any questions she always has an answer or she finds the answer. She is the first doctor to tell me I should go off my arthritis meds why I am taking antibiotics. None of the other doctors have told me this. The last time I was on antibiotics my body went in a tail spin my blood pressure sky rocketed my liver was affected etc.Thank you Samantha! Happy New Year!!

This was actually the first time I saw this doctor that will become more routine I assume. The medication is new so there really hasn't been follow up yet other than a scheduled ZOOM.

Provider didn't let me speak thoroughly on my issues and my pain kept cutting me off when I would speak didn't seem to believe when I said that I am not being taken seriously because I am under 30 years old they laughed. When I told them I was in pain they seemed not understand and kept touching the painful area. They never once brought up any type of pain relief after expressing that I can't sleep due to the pain.

The answers about ability to get referral accepted and an appointment made refers to Dr. Whisler whose policy is to take months to review a referral before accepting it is ridiculous even in an overburdened practice. Luckily I was able to get an appointment (after several weeks) with NP Samantha Hughes. She is remarkable! She is intelligent, has excellent "bedside manner" and makes me feel like I'm in the best hands possible! She should be recognized for that!

We've always had excellent care from Dr. Whisler and Samantha Hughes. Ms. Hughes is the one we see regularly and she is both kind and efficient. She knows [Name(s)] medical history, asks tons of questions and listens patiently and is pro-active in care. Recently, she referred [Name(s)] to a podiatrist, which was wonderful!! Overall, we are thrilled to be in the care of Samantha Hughes. Regarding the question about whether or not anyone from the office follows up after labwork, they never call us to discuss results, (when results or normal), but Ms. Hughes ALWAYS follows up when we come in for our appointments.
