About Eric A. Wien
Eric Wien attended medical school at St. George’s University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2018. He completed his medical residency at the University of Hawaii Internal Medicine Residency Program in 2021 before serving as Chief Medical Resident for the 2021-2022 academic year at which time he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society. He completed his Transplant Hepatology Fellowship in Philadelphia at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 2022 before joining Providence Liver and Pancreas and the Swedish Organ Transplant Program as a Transplant Hepatologist. He strives to empower his patients to take charge of their illness and understand their disease process. While passionate about treating all liver disease, his particular interests include liver transplantation, chronic hepatitis B and C, and fatty liver disease. Dr. Wien remains very interested and involved in medical education and hopes to help train the next generation of physicians.
