"Sarah comes to Providence Olympia Women's Health with extensive experience in women's health and family practice. She is passionate about helping patients and brings expertise, gentleness, attention to detail, active listening, and trust in patients’ knowledge of their own bodies and experience to her interactions with patients. She has practiced in maternity care and home birth, family practice, lactation, gynecology and urogynecology; she takes an active role in training the next generation of nurse practitioners as clinical faculty for her alma mater, Pacific Lutheran University. When not working, Sarah likes to garden, sew, spend time with her husband, friends and her newly-adult children, walk among trees, waves and mountains, volunteer in her community and play the cello.

The only thing that wasn't positive was that parts of the physical exam were very painful. If I know that those procedures will be repeated, I would want to have a sedative in advance.
