Daniel J. Lama, MD

Dr. Lama graduated Summa Cum Laude from Manhattan College, where he received his Bachelors of Science degree in 1980. There he was elected into Epsilon Sigma PI Honor Society and Phi Beta Kappa. He received his M.D. from the State University of New York at Downstate in 1984. He was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He completed General Surgical internship and Urologic Residency at New York University. He has been Board Certified since 1993 and re-certified in 2001 and 2014. He is a fellow of the International College of Surgeons. Dr Lama has served on numerous committees at both Community Hospital of San Bernardino and St. Bernardine Medical Center. He has served as vice-chairman of Department of Surgery at both area hospitals, and has served as Chairman of the Tissue Committee for three years. He has served as consultant to several pharmaceutical companies and has been actively involved in clinical research both as a Prinicipal Investigator and Subinvestigator since 1999. He has been in practice in San Bernardino since 1990.
