About Heather R. West
Heather West PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant with a background in military medicine and a focus on urinary tract conditions, prostate health, and men's and women’s lower urinary tract symptoms. She received her training at the University of Washington’s MEDEX Northwest PA Program and completed a focused clinical rotation in urology, gaining hands-on experience in both clinic-based and procedural care. Heather West is committed to delivering compassionate and personalized care, with an emphasis on listening to patient concerns, promoting shared decision-making, and supporting continuity of care. This was my first ever visit with Heather West PA-C. She answered all my questions and concerns and provided good information on my options if further action is required. She recommended and prescribed an alternate medication to reduce or eliminate the annoying stuffy nose side effect I have with Tamsulosin. She Is very pleasant and knowledgeable which made me feel confident with her recommendations. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family.

This was one of the better experiences I had. At issue was treatment of BPH along with side effects of some of the medications. The provider listened to my concerns, which included some familial needs. She was very attentive to my concerns, especially the side effects. Everything she said was clear. We arrived at a solid plan to address the BPH without going to surgery. That is what I was hoping to accomplish.
