Krishna Emilio Kinan Martinez-Singh, MD

Krishna Martinez-Singh, MD is a vascular surgeon with specialized training from Stanford University, where he completed an integrated residency and earned a Master’s in Epidemiology and Clinical Research. He received his medical degree from Albany Medical College and holds dual public health degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Martinez-Singh’s clinical and research interests focus on innovation in limb salvage and enhancing recovery after open vascular surgery. As an NIH R38 post-doctoral fellow at the Stanford Cardiovascular Institute, he co-led NIH- and industry-funded studies evaluating a point-of-care perfusion device to predict wound healing and an AI-enabled mobile app for monitoring post-operative recovery. He believes the best outcomes arise from a true partnership between surgeon and patient—grounded in listening, shared decision-making, and evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s goals. Outside of medicine, he enjoys traveling, live music, Warriors basketball, and spending time with family and friends.
