We've been watching this issue for 8 years. I wouldn't anyone else to be my surgeon for this issue.

I went to several other doctors who had no idea about my problem. Dr. O'Brien has the knowledge to recognize it and the determination to get to the bottom of it and find the best possible solution for me to get better.

His friendly manner and genuine concern was comforting and left us with a sense of peace that his conclusions and recommendations were appropriate. I commend him and all the staff at the Heart Institute for their obvious professionalism and care for their patients. I am thankful that the IHI heart is present in our region.

My case is complex and ongoing for more than two years. Dr. O'Brien has done an excellent job of managing my disease and my anxiety in dealing with it. His empathy and caring is so appreciated. His expertise in vascular surgery has kept me on "this side of the grass." I respect his skill as a surgeon and his empathy as a provider.

My appointment was a bit late starting but Dr. O'Brien spent a lot of time with me.

Dr. O'brien is a special Dr. Don't lose him. Pay him whatever he wants. You won't find another as good as him.
