Allan G. Young, DO

Allan G. Young, DO, RPVI, is a vascular surgeon now practicing with Providence Medical Group at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington. He brings extensive experience in open, endovascular, and hybrid vascular procedures after almost two decades of leadership within US Army Medicine, including serving as Chief of Vascular Surgery at two major military medical centers. Dr. Young earned his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed his general surgery residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, and completed fellowship training in vascular and endovascular surgery at Baylor University Hospital. He is board certified in vascular and general surgery and is a registered physician in vascular interpretation. His clinical interests include complex aortic disease, carotid disease and stroke prevention, limb salvage, dialysis access, and venous disease. He is committed to clear communication, collaborative decision making, and long term vascular care tailored to each patient’s goals.
