At Providence, you are treated by a multidisciplinary team of specialists involved in every aspect of your cancer care – including gastroenterologists, radiologists, surgeons, pathologists, medical oncologists, and radiation oncologists - who collaborate across multiple locations to provide convenient, connected care close to your home or work. As a patient, you will have access to:

Our approach to cancer care at Providence is to treat the whole person and not just the illness. You are at the center of a team of specialists whose common goal is help you live cancer-free. Our patient-centered approach to care includes experts in diagnosing, staging and treating cancer.
All cancer patients have access to have their case reviewed at a tumor board, also known as multidisciplinary cancer conference. Tumor boards provide a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to your cancer care, bringing together oncology, radiology, pathology, interventional radiology, genetics, and ancillary specialists to aid in treatment planning and improved care coordination.
One of the most important members of your Providence cancer team is a specially trained nurse navigator, who provides compassionate support and will keep you informed and help answer your questions so you can feel confident and in control of your care.
