At Providence Psychiatry Clinic – West, we assess, diagnose and treat adults with psychiatric conditions.

We know our patients come to us at what may be a fragile time. That’s why our psychiatric specialists and therapists provide compassionate care and understanding. They get to know their patients so they can develop a care program tailored to their personal situations and needs.

Our goal is to support patients so they can return to their primary care team for ongoing care. Care plans may include medication management, therapy or transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).

We treat adults who need psychiatric care but don't need to be seen more than once a week. We also see patients who need to be assessed for placement in a more appropriate level of care.

We do not offer intensive outpatient services or treatment for children, chemical dependency, long-term mental health care and eating disorders.

Our psychiatric specialists establish a personal relationship with their patients to understand them and create a care plan that will help provide stability.

Our services include:

  • Medication management. We work to help find the right medication for our patients’ psychiatric conditions. Our specialists are experts at prescribing medication tailored to their patients’ needs.
  • Therapy. We offer individual and group therapy. Our innovative program is patient-centered and uses the Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) model of care. This type of therapy incorporates mindfulness and encourages patients to accept their inner emotions while moving on with their lives.
  • Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). This therapy is for patients who haven’t found relief from depression with medication. It works by placing a special coil onto the head for a period of about 20 to 30 minutes. The coil sends gentle magnetic pulses that help adjust activity in the part of the brain that regulates mood. Once the treatment session is complete, the patient can resume normal activities immediately.
