Community Wellness is able to bring many of our classes and services to your location.

Prevent T2 Program

Prevent T2 is a year-long program that provides education, encouragement and the tools necessary to help individuals lose weight and reach their healthy lifestyle goals. The main goal of the program is for participants to lose 7% of their body weight by:

  • Tracking food intake and staying within a calorie and fat gram goal, each day
  • Tracking physical activity with a goal of 150 minutes per week
  • Privately weighing in each class session

Blood Pressure Self-Management Program

This program is a four-week class series designed to help participants learn what they can do to lower their blood pressure. Topics covered include: healthy eating, how to reduce sodium in your diet, physical activity, DASH eating plan and how and when to take your own blood pressure.

Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid is an eight-hour course that teaches participants how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The training gives participants the skills needed to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem, or experiencing a crisis.

Tobacco Cessation

Quit for Good is a four-week class series is designed to provide tobacco prevention and cessation education to a group.

Lunch and Learn Presentations

Lunch and learn presentations are a great way to learn about a specific health topic. The employer chooses the health topic of interest to be presented in-person at the workplace or online. View past recorded presentations.
