Partnering To Remove the Stigma of Mental Health

At Providence, we're saying yes to the youth of our community by investing in mental health resources for those who need it the most. To that end, we're thrilled to announce our partnership with Seattle Sounders FC. Seattle Sounders FC is an incredible organization and with their presence throughout our community, they can help us reach even more while normalizing mental health and offering supportive resources.

Help us kick the stigma and bring awareness to mental health resources, including the free resources from Work2BeWell and make a change in your life. Commit to your well-being using tools from Providence and Work2BeWell. This is for people of all ages to rally and support the cause.

Powered by Providence’s Work2BeWell Program

The Providence and Seattle Sounders FC partnership is powered by our Work2BeWell program. These physician-approved resources are developed by youth for youth, allowing us to connect with them in an authentic, meaningful way.

Providence’s Work2BeWell is a mental health and wellness program focused on providing mental health resources and education for youth, parents and educators. Our goal is to promote youth wellness across the country and work to normalize the conversation about mental health and reduce the stigma that surrounds it.

“There is a mental health crisis in this country with millions of people suffering and young people being especially impacted since the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020.
This partnership with the Seattle Sounders FC helps Providence reach people in new ways and connect them to resources available in their communities and beyond.”

Building a Culture of Play and Emotional Well-Being

Working with the Renton School District, Providence and the Seattle Sounders FC will help create safe spaces for children to play and provide camps that incorporate mental well-being curriculum. In addition, the partnership will help foster a culture within local area schools to help every child prioritize their mental well-being and be equipped to support their peers.

The Seattle Sounders FC digital trading cards are just one way we’re using this partnership to make mental health visible and accessible to all. To us, it’s important to use the power of play to amplify well-being in our community. Haven’t signed the pledge yet?
