The Coronavirus outbreak is a source of stress for most everyone right now. How you respond to the outbreak and the stress it's causing you will vary based on your background, the community you live in, and other factors.
The Center for Disease Control (CDC) outlines some tactics to cope with the stress during this time we all need to be sheltering in place. Here are some of the tips offered by the CDC:
- Take a break from the news cycle around COVID-19. It can foster anxiety
- Try meditation, eat healthy meals, find ways to exercise at home and get some sleep
- Stay connected with friends and family via video chats or old fashioned phone calls
