Kadlec designated Heart Safe Campus

Kadlec designated Heart Safe Campus

Kadlec Regional Medical Center has been designated as a Heart Safe Campus by Richland Fire & Emergency Services.

The designation means Kadlec has gone above and beyond in its efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of all who enter. At Kadlec, medical training is the norm for the clinical staff. However, to support the Heart Safe Campus designation, 90 percent of Kadlec’s non-clinical staff on the main campus also have been trained in hands-only cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Hands-only CPR is a simplified form of CPR that focuses on chest compression, without mouth-to-mouth breathing assistance.

Kadlec offers hands-free CRP online courses to the public as well. You can register for the class here Class Registration (microsoftcrmportals.com)
