Providence Holy Cross Medical Center among America’s 50 Best Hospitals for seventh consecutive year
Providence Holy Cross Medical Center has been named among America’s 50 Best Hospitals, marking the seventh straight year the hospital has been recognized for excellence and outstanding patient outcomes.
The award from Healthgrades, a market leader in connecting doctors and patients, places the Mission Hills hospital among the top 1% of hospitals nationwide for overall clinical performance across the most common conditions and procedures.
“Earning this recognition for the seventh year in a row reflects the consistency and dedication of our physicians and caregivers,” said Bernard Klein, M.D., the hospital’s chief executive. “It speaks to a shared commitment across the organization to deliver safe, high‑quality care that leads to better outcomes for our patients.”
In addition to this distinction for overall care, Providence Holy Cross was recognized by Healthgrades last year for exceptional patient outcomes in 11 key service areas: bowel obstruction, colorectal surgeries, COPD, cranial neurosurgery, gastrointestinal bleeding, gastrointestinal surgery, heart failure, outpatient prostate care, pulmonary embolism, sepsis and stroke. These accolades further underscore the hospital's commitment to delivering the highest quality care to every patient, year after year.
The America’s 50 Best Hospital award is based solely on what matters most: patient outcomes. To determine America’s 50 Best Hospitals for 2026, Healthgrades evaluated risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates for more than 30 of the most common conditions and procedures at approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide.
“This year's America’s Best Hospitals list gives patients a clearer picture of where high-quality care is delivered most consistently,” said Alana Biggers, M.D., MPH, medical advisor at Healthgrades. “Patients can feel confident in their decision to seek care at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, an organization that is setting the standard for clinical excellence nationwide.”
