We created pediatric care units with your child’s comfort in mind. Our units offer you 24-hour access to your child so you can be together during your entire stay. Child life specialists are also on-hand to address your child’s psychological and developmental issues while in the hospital.
Neurosurgery is used to treat:
- Brain tumors
- Cerebrovascular issues
- Closed head injuries
- Neurological infections
- Severe brain and spinal injuries
- Spinal disorders
If your child requires urgent care, trauma services are available with round-the-clock care for head traumas that require surgery. We also have pediatric intensive care units with neonatologists available at any time.
When it’s time for surgery, we take your child to the operating room where our surgical team will treat your child. We understand that a child’s needs are unique, so we always support your care goals and provide everything you need to feel confident in your child’s care.
We closely monitor your child through every phase of recovery and watch for signs of complications, like swelling or unusual changes in behavior.
After surgery, our team of pediatric specialists works with you during your child’s rehabilitation to help you develop the skills necessary to care for your child during their recovery.
