YING CHI YANG, MD

Dr. Ying Chi Yang is a dedicated and compassionate physician, committed to providing exceptional patient care. He earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine 2 in Myanmar and completed his internal medicine residency at Brooklyn One Health System in New York, where he developed a deep interest in cardiology. After residency, Dr. Yang served as an internist and cardiac hospitalist at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics from 2018 to 2022, gaining extensive experience in cardiovascular medicine at a leading academic medical center. Driven by his passion for cardiovascular health, he went on to complete a cardiology fellowship at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, refining his skills in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Yang is also passionate about leveraging technology trends to improve healthcare. He is the founder and developer of ECG Corner, a highly regarded mobile application available on iOS and Android AppStores, offering high-quality educational electrocardiogram resources to medical professionals and cardiology trainees worldwide. In his free time, Dr. Yang enjoys traveling, playing the piano, ice skating, and skiing.
