Excellent experience

I really appreciated the fact that Dr. Spangler did not "pigeon-hole" my diagnosis in the same category as others who have had heart attacks. He acknowledged that my case was "unusual" because I am not diabetic, overweight or plagued with high cholesterol. His recommendations for treatment took those factors into consideration instead of arbitrarily prescribing drugs that were unnecessary. He is a good listener which I believe makes him a very good doctor.

Dr. Spangler was thorough and efficient in his review of my recent test results and subsequent examination. When I returned home and reviewed the messages and test results in my health portal, I realized that I did not understand some of the issues involved in my condition. For example, I knew that my mitral valve was leaking, but I did not know (until I read it) that my "left atrium [is] severely dilated" and what that means in terms of the likelihood or degree of imminent danger. I'd have asked about this during our visit, had I known. Reading Dr. Spangler's summary notes today, I'm satisfied that he understands my condition and has outlined a reasonable plan of action.

I felt all was good. But provider did not have my latest blood panels. The cardiac tests were available.
