Luay D. Ailabouni, MD

Dr. Ailabouni understands that colorectal concerns are often uncomfortable and private. He takes great pride in caring for patients in a sensitive, respectful way; working to develop a trusting relationship with each patient. Whether in clinic or at the hospital, he focuses on providing patients with options that will offer them comfort and the best short and long term results. His mission is to make each patient's treatment plan the best for their lifestyle. Dr. Ailabouni graduated from Jordan University of Science and Technology, College of Medicine, Irbid, Jordan. He went on to completed his residency in General Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Ailabouni completed his colon and rectal surgery subspecialty training at Cook County Colorectal Surgery Training Program in Chicago, Illinois. In addition, he completed basic surgical training in the United Kingdom obtaining his Certificate of Completion (CCBST). He is a member of the Robotic College of Surgeons of England (MRCS). In his practice Dr. Ailabouni focuses on diseases of the colon, rectum and anus including colon cancer, inflammatory bowel diseases and anorectal disorders such as anal pain, hemorrhoids, abscess/fissures, fistulas, rectal prolapse and others. He specializes in laparoscopic surgery.
