About Mel Arce
Mel Arce, RD, CDCES is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist who specializes in working with individuals with diabetes. She has diverse experience in the field of nutrition, having also worked with individuals on hemodialysis, endurance athletes looking to optimize health and sports performance, and individuals looking to improve cholesterol and/or blood pressure levels. She practices within a Health at Every Size framework, meaning that the focus of sessions is on implementing behaviors and establishing habits that support health over the long term, rather than focusing on weight as a primary indicator of health. Outside of her work as a dietitian, Mel enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
