About Faiza Murad
Empower, knowledge, and security are all things that I cherish and believe every woman has a right to. These are just a few things I am passionate about. I chose to be a birth doula because I believe every woman has a right to experience the birth she desires. When a person is going through this vulnerable and tender experience, they deserve to have an advocate who's looking out for them and their family. I am very passionate about serving the Muslim community here in Oregon. But my desire to support others is across all communities. I am a THW certified OHA Birth Doula and have taken the following: Cultural Sensitivity Training at Mother Tree Birth Services, Trauma Informed Care Training at Mother Tree Birth Services, CPR & First Aid Certified, Suicide Prevention Training, and Oral Health Completion.
