Soy un miembro de la comunidad Latina que le apasiona apoyar a nuestra comunidad. Es un placer para mí trabajar como Doula Certificada en mi comunidad porque me da la oportunidad de empoderar, informar y apoyar a nuestras mamás y sus familias en sus momentos más vulnerables, pero a la misma vez el momento más anhelado como la llegada de un recién nacido. El proceso de un embarazo, el parto y después del parto son etapas donde nuestras mamás latinas inmigrantes necesitan y merecen el apoyo que yo ofrezco como el acompañamiento de una Doula . Adicionalmente los ejercicios, las técnicas de respiración e información de los cambios y el proceso del parto hacen que ellas lleguen al momento del nacimiento con el enfoque de que tendrán un embarazo saludable y exitoso. Al mismo tiempo, con la confianza de que su jornada como mamá será más llevadera. I am a member of the Latino community who is passionate about supporting our community. It is a pleasure for me to work as a Certified Doula in my community because it gives me the opportunity to empower, inform, and support our mothers and their families in their most vulnerable moments, but at the same time the anticipated moment such as the arrival of a newborn. The process of pregnancy, childbirth and after childbirth are stages where our immigrant Latina mothers need and deserve the support that I offer such as the companionship of a Doula. Additionally, the exercises, breathing techniques and information about the changes and the birth process ensure that they arrive at the moment of birth with the focus that they will have a healthy and successful pregnancy. At the same time, with the confidence that their journey as a mother will be more bearable.
