I am Michelle Smith, and I am a mother of five beautiful children, four living and one angel baby. I am also a loving wife, I enjoy watching home improvement shows, cooking shows, and making coffee for fun. I am also a Certified Doula (trained by Mama Shafia SMC Doulas, DONA and Birthingway), Certified Lactation Education Specialist (CLES), and Pregnancy and Infant Loss Advocate (PAIL). My journey to birth work started in grief, but it has grown into a mission centered on empowerment and healing. I am dedicated to changing birth outcomes in my community by first educating and then empowering. I firmly believe that giving birth also brings forth a new version of ourselves. My goal is to help families navigate this life changing journey. I truly believe that birth is a sacred experience, and it is a true honor and privilege to support someone through this transformative journey.
