About Patty V. Vertner
Sonia, or Patty (she/her) is from Guatemala. She has 3 beautiful children and an amazing granddaughter. She came to the United States 35 years ago, and has been a social worker, working with people from many different cultures and backgrounds. In Guatemala she earned a teaching degree for elementary aged children and also studied psychology for a year focusing on children with disabilities. She's a certified doula who loves welcoming babies to the world while supporting mothers on how they wish to birth. Patty makes sure to include the mothers partner to such a special experience in their lives. She is bilingual in Spanish and bicultural.
