About Mark A. Halvorson
Dr. Halvorson is drawn to family medicine because of the potential to forge life long relationships with patients, relationships that go beyond the mere physical aspects of medicine and dive into the emotional and spiritual aspects as well. Dr. Halvorson's talents and skills in the area of medicine are best used in engaging patients, building relationships with them, and hopefully impacting their lives not just for a momentary stay in the hospital but for a lifetime. He wants to care for the generations of families, not a just a select few individuals for a limited period of time. Dr. Halvorson is also interested in sports medicine, acute care, and trauma. When not in the hospital, he enjoys serving in his church and all things football related.

My previous provider is leaving next month. I tried to schedule a new patient visit with the only provider taking new patients and was told it would be next November before I could see him. I said that Dr Halvorson was my wife's PCP and asked if perhaps he might be able to take me on. The office called me back a week later and I was able to schedule my well care visit the following week.
