OVERALL VERY GOOD, BUT I WISH DR. LEE WOULD NOT CLOSE HIS EYES AND STAND OVER ME WHEN TALKING TO ME FOR OVER HALF AN HOUR, FORCING ME TO CRANK MY NECK UP LOOKING UP AT HIM TO SHOW HIM RESPECT AND ATTENTION. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICER IF DR. LEE SAT DOWN OF THE ROUND STOOL AND LOOKED HORIZONTALLY AT ME, NOT DOWN AT ME STANDING OVER ME WHILE I SAT IN MY CHAIR. ALSO IF HE'S GOING TO CLOSE HIS EYES WHILE HE TALKS, HE SHOULD EXPLAIN TO PATIENTS WHY. I'VE NEVER HAD ANY OTHER DOCTOR STAND OVER ME, 2 FEET AWAY, AND CLOSE HIS EYES WHILE HE TALKS DOWN AT ME. WEIRD!

He told me my tests from previous doctors was progressing to a serious place and how long I might have to live It was a difficult conversation and he said they would monitor Labs and symptoms and Increased my chemotherapy medication I left feeling very sad and unsure what to do Should I tell family?

He seems extremely thorough and explains things professionally yet still in terms of patient can understand and follow. Great service throughout the entire visit.

Dr. Lee seems to be "phoning it in" ever since I involved UCSF in my care. At my last visit (the first time I had seen him since April) he had no idea of significant events in my healthcare, despite the fact that Dr. Nakamura from UCSF had sent him a letter expressing concern about recent CT findings. He also had no idea that I had changed to a new oral chemotherapy drug. He never posted his office notes for the April visit and had not yet posted his notes from my last visit .

The entire care team is kind, caring, and always willing to take the time to answer my questions. I would highly recommend my provider and the entire team working with him. I feel very lucky to have them taking care of me.
