Dr. Sander has always been interested in science, especially anatomy and physiology, so pursuing medicine was a natural transition. She enjoys the challenge of clinical medicine and determining a diagnosis from a constellation of symptoms and physical findings. She finds developing long-term relationships with her patients and their families to be the most fulfilling part of her work.
