I enjoy working with my patients and having close contact with them. We often form trusted relationships and I learn life experiences from them. I am open-minded when it comes to non-traditional therapies. My focus is on making my patients feel and live better, so I will try whichever options are in their best interests. If we cannot cure the disease, we would strive for a life as fuller as possible with the cancer. I have been honored from the trusts of and voted by my physician colleagues as the Seattle Magazine’s Top Doctors for the last 10 years. At our cancer center, we offer clinical trials and cutting-edge cancer therapies such as immunotherapy, genomic-directed precision or targeted therapy, biologics, oral and infusion chemotherapies. I have published extensively in the field of Hematology/Oncology with over 70 research publications and enjoy writing on a range of topics, with published books from as serious as stem cell transplant for cancer therapy to as leisure as raising kids, college prep to dream colleges and poetry.
