About Patricia M. Reddy
Patricia Reddy, DNP, CNM, IBCLC has dedicated more than 30 years to supporting pregnant people and families through pregnancy, birth and the transition to parenthood. A lifelong learner, she earned her master's and doctoral degrees in nursing, building a career grounded in evidence-based care, clinical excellence, quality improvement, and deep love and respect for the childbearing experience. Before becoming a CNM, Patricia worked as a labor & birth nurse, pregnancy massage therapist, and doula, experiences which shaped her holistic understanding of pregnancy and birth, Throughout her career, she has cared for families across diverse birth settings, serving as the primary midwife at out-of-hospital births as well as low- and high-risk hospital births. Patricia was instrumental in developing and growing a rural midwifery practice in Southern Oregon, helping expand access to high-quality maternity care in the region before joining Providence. She is particularly passionate about supporting women through pregnancy and labor, fostering informed decision-making, and assisting families to navigate the transition to parenthood with confidence and joy.
