I recently had an appointment with a naturopath through Providence, and unfortunately my experience didn't meet expectations. I chose a naturopath specifically because I was hoping for a more thorough, patient-centered approach-but it felt very similar to a standard primary care visit, without the added benefit I was expecting.Before the appointment even began, I overheard a comment about me having "a lot of concerns," which immediately made me feel uncomfortable and hesitant to speak openly. During the visit, I felt rushed and, at times, like my concerns weren't fully heard or validated. I left the appointment feeling more discouraged than supported.I completely understand that providers are under time constraints, but when patients are paying additional costs for naturopathic care, there's an expectation of more personalized attention and a deeper level of engagement.Overall, I didn't feel that I received care that was meaningfully different from a typical MD visit, and I left without a clear sense of direction or support for my concerns.I recently had an appointment with a naturopath through Providence, and unfortunately my experience didn't meet expectations. Dr. Stegmaier pays attention to detail and has good suggestions for care. She is attentive and knowledgeable, balancing well western studies and and medicine standards with more options from her naturopathic background.

Outstanding experience with the provider! Only negative was the receptionist forgot to tell the provider I was there, which significantly cut into my time with the provider. Fortunately, didn't have to reschedule as suggested and the team was able to adjust to the timing. Immensely grateful for the care and attention of the provider, nurse, and lab specialist.

Great provider, always feel comfortable talking about any health issues with her.

Dr Stegmaier and her staff are always kind, considerate, and wonderful to work with. Her nurse is great and I like her very much. The front desk people are kind. Dawn is one of the only people in town who can draw my blood on the first stick. Dr Stegmaier is a fantastic doctor who makes me feel heard and keeps me healthy. At 59 years old I am healthier than a lot of my friends and peers and I think a lot of it is due to Dr Stegmaier. She prescribes medicine when needed but she does not over do it. I am on less medication than most people my age and healthy. We need more doctors like Dr Stegmaier.

My entire care team listened to my concerns, got me in for an appointment the same day, consulted with a specialist on the spot, and made the necessary appointment for tests and prescriptions. They were incredibly responsive and compassionate. I felt very heard, cared for, and in control of the next steps.

The doctor was not taking new patients at the time and I explained my health conditions to the staff and they were beyond helpful in getting me an appointment with Dr. Stegmaier. I am on my last hope of trying to figure out what is going on with me. I am beyond grateful she took me on.

I just established care with Elizabeth Stegmaier, ND and cannot convey to how elated I was to have found a physician that is willing to go the extra mile to provide the best care! Dr. Stegmaier is truly empathetic, knowledgeable and takes the time to go over health history and come up with alternative science backed treatments that can provide the best medical outcomes! Hands down, one of the best medical providers I have seen! I'm happy to have established primary care with her!

Dr. Steigmaier always listens, remembers what we discussed from last visit, and is spot on with her interventions. I haven't felt this healthy since my early 30's, and I am almost 50!
