About Ashutosh K. Mahajan

I'm a dual board certified (Internal Medicine/Nephrology) physician serving patients throughout the greater Spokane area. I have expertise in managing patients with chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, ICU nephrology, vasculitis involving the kidneys etc. I completed my fellowship in Texas training in the full spectrum of kidney disease from early-stage outpatient chronic kidney disease to complex patients in ICU. I have practiced in geographically diverse areas in Internal medicine and nephrology in the US (MA, MI, TX and now WA state). My philosophy centers around treating the person and not just the lab values. I believe caring for patients with kidney disease is a long-term partnership between the patient and physician, built on trust and clear communication.
