About David P. Gruber

Dr. Gruber received his Medical Doctorate from University of Oregon and is a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon who is dual board certified in both adult and pediatric neurosurgery. He practices at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA where he treats patients with congenital and acquired conditions. His practice focus includes pediatric neurosurgical disorders as well as adult degenerative spine, brain tumors, and traumatic injuries. Dr. Gruber graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University with an MD and holds an MBA from George Washington University. He completed a neurosurgical internship and residency at the University of Cincinnati and a fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at the University of Utah. He has been practicing with Inland Neurosurgery and Spine Associates since 1999. Dr. Gruber is a fellow with the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Society of Pediatric Neurosurgery and the International Society of Pediatric Neurosurgery. He is an associate clinical professor with the University of Washington School of Medicine, an examiner for the American Board of Neurological Surgeons, and a member of the American Board of Pediatric Neurosurgery.
