I love Dr. Higa! This is my second pregnancy that's why I have a comparison when it comes to experience with an OB. She came in ready, knows my medical history, and showed genuine care and attentiveness when I brought up some concerns. She was also very professional and gentle when she did a physical exam on me. Very happy with my first prenatal visit.

This was my first time to see Dr. Higa as a referral to address something detected during an ultrasound. Dr. Higa was VERY professional, Informative, friendly, caring, and COMPASSIONATE. She made me feel at ease, reduced my worry and anxiety, and took great care and time to explain everything in detail and answer all of my questions. I very much appreciate her "bedside" manner.My only negative was in the scheduling of the appointment - given that this was a referral for something detected on an ultrasound, I wish I had been able to get an appointment sooner, so as not to delay in knowing what my next steps are, and how to proceed.

Dr. Estrada Higa is probably the kindest, most compassionate doctor I have received care from. I was recently back in her office for a pregnancy loss. Dr. Estrada Higa was empathetic and thoughtful in her approach and explanation regarding my condition and my options for treatment. She was extremely patient and thoroughly addressed all my questions, and she was very encouraging when I had concerns about what this loss could mean for my future fertility. She also followed up with messages and additional information in MyChart after my visit. I truly appreciate Dr. Estrada Higa, and hope she will be my OBGYN until she retires!
