Austin has very good bedside manners. He spent time explaining both the result of the X-Ray as well as the history of my knee osteoarthritis. He made some recommendations that will help avoid knee effusion due to the history of my knees.

No complaints.

I usually see Dr Khajavi, but they were able to get me in sooner. Ive been in pain. Austin Perkins was very good. I was very happy about my visit. He explained things well and answered any questions I had.

Austin is on Dr Khajavi's team and administered a cortisone shot in my knee. He then made an appointment for me to consult with Dr Khajavi regarding a knee replacement. We had a very informative conversation on that subject and gave me good feedback. He's an excellent team member.

Austin's bedside manner was very good, he listened to me without interruption and then clarified the difference between cortisone hip injection and what I really was requesting, which was bursa sac injection of cortisone. I felt very relaxed in his presence.

I received an injection today for knee pain. While I don't know if this procedure will work to reduce the pain (the last one didn't) Austin provided very good care; he listened to my concerns and I barely felt the Injection. (I have a low tolerance for pain .) I checked with the scheduler to make sure I was scheduled with Austin for my next appointment.

The X-ray dept was some what backed up but we saw the PA 10 minutes earlier than our appointed time, its all good.

Austin Perkins is very good at what he does. Dr. Shamfield was amazing as was Dr. Forslund when I started this process. My only complaint is with how long it took to get these three consecutive appointments. We had to order the injections months ago and paid for them months ago as well. I have been in pain the entire time. I just think that this process could have moved more quickly since the appointment itself took less than 15 minutes.I have nothing but great things to say about all the providers and offices that I go to with Providence St. Jude!

Iam pleased with my care today with Austin, as he gave me a new referral for PT for both of my knee replacements to help with muscle strengthening.

Austin not only answered all my questions regarding my upcoming surgery, but also asked Dr. Khajavi to come in for a minute just to ensure me that the surgery will be fine.
