Ryan D. Kraus, MD

Dr. Kraus is a board-certified radiation oncologist who graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree at Brigham Young University, before attending the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He completed his residency training at the University of Utah Huntsman Cancer Institute, and spent a portion of his training in Austria where he performed global oncology research at the International Atomic Energy Agency. After completing his residency training, he spent a year focusing on the treatment of brain tumors and head & neck malignancies before joining the team at Kadlec Tri-Cities Cancer Center. Dr. Kraus has a love for teaching; he prides himself on ensuring that his patients understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and how radiation therapy fits into their overall cancer care. He has a strong belief that the goals and values of every patient are different and that these goals and values must be understood in order to provide exceptional patient care. Dr. Kraus realizes that a patient's quality of life matters and that every effort should be made to minimize the impact a cancer treatment will have on a patient's long-term quality of life.
