About Kamran A. Karim
Dr. Karim is board certified in Family Medicine with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine. He is the director of the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship and provides musculoskeletal care for a wide variety of patients. He has served in a team physician role for Portland State University, Gonzaga University, Spokane Indians and provided medical coverage for multiple NCAA sporting events (march madness and track/field championships). He is currently the head team physician for Whitworth University. He specializes in non-surgical sports medicine and utilizes point of care musculoskeletal ultrasound for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, as well as PRP injections.

I see several different providence specialty providers and they have really stepped up their commitments to patients lately. In one particular occasion recently I saw the clinician, got an xray, got the MRI referral and then I scheduled that all within the day. To keep a very elevated injury moving.

At the Spokane Teaching Clinic, Dr. Karim provided an injection into My left knee injured a few years ago enough fall on ice at home. The steroid injections have provided the best relief for my knee, which is having a hard time bearing the weight to go up and downstairs!

Dr. Karim was quite knowledgeable about the year I had been struggling with pain in my right hip. He explained my condition as well as the X rays of my hip and what they revealed.
