You are exercising in a group setting with a heart monitor, and our exercise physiologists check your vital signs before, during and after exercise.
Bring a list of your medications, your insurance card, and a calendar so that we can schedule future appointments. If you are diabetic, bring your glucometer.
Your first visit will be a group orientation about our program that lasts 90 minutes. During the visit, you will tour our gym and the equipment to prepare for your first full session. You will also schedule your future exercise class times.
Yes. A referral from your cardiologist will need to be placed prior to scheduling your intake appointment.
Generally cardiac rehab is covered by most health insurance companies. We do recommend that you check your plan to determine if you may have a copay or other requirements. Our schedulers will also do an insurance check to confirm you are eligible, and your exercise physiologist will let you know during your intake if you have a copay and how many sessions your insurance may cover.
