Patient Stories
Using robotic technology, Saint John’s Health Center surgeons fused together several bones in Stacy’s spine, straightening her back and easing her leg pain. Seven weeks later, the 68-year-old was back to jumping her beloved Mustang. “I’ve had an incredible experience,” Stacy says. “I went through this surgery that nobody thought was going to come out very good, and it was amazing. Everything seems to have come back in place, partially because there’s no pain.”
Randy White went out jet skiing with friends. Minutes later, he was face down in the ocean, paralyzed. Thanks to the expert care of the Providence Spine Institute, Randy walked out of the clinic on his own two feet. “I knew I was in the best hands possible,” he says. “The staff, exceptional. The doctors, exceptional. The spine institute, exceptional. The therapists, exceptional. Without them, I don't know that I would be here today.”
