Our board-certified colorectal surgeons treat a wide range of conditions, from mild to life-threatening, including cancer, polyps and inflammatory bowel disease. We serve as the referral center for Eastern Washington, coordinating care with various specialists.
Our Approach
At Providence Cataldo Health Center, our board-certified colorectal surgeons specialize in treating a wide range of conditions, from mild to life-threatening. We offer both surgical and non-surgical treatments for colon, rectum and anus cancers, as well as treatment for benign conditions.
Our team serves as the tertiary referral center for Eastern Washington and the surrounding tri-state region, handling both emergent and non-emergent colorectal conditions. We coordinate patient care with local and regional medical and radiation oncologists, radiologists, gastroenterologists, primary care physicians, general surgeons, gynecologists, gynecology oncologists and urologists as needed. Care is provided at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Holy Family Hospital.
In addition to clinical duties, our colorectal surgeons are involved in state and national quality improvement projects, clinical research and leadership within the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. We provide follow-up care for colon and rectal cancer, as well as screening and surveillance for colorectal cancer.
