Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program
The Nursing Assistant Training Program highlights the basic knowledge and skills necessary for individuals who wish to obtain certification as a NAC/CNA in Washington State. It provides an excellent foundation for a variety of medical roles and will prepare students to provide compassionate, empathetic, and person-centered care.
This course is an evening course that includes 77 hours of classroom time and hands-on skills training followed by 80 hours of clinicals at Sacred Heart Medical Center. The class runs from 4 pm - 10 pm on Wednesday and Thursday evenings and 9 - 5 on selected Saturdays. Clinicals run 3:00 - 11:30 pm. Upon successful program completion, each student will be eligible to take the written and skills competency exams required by Washington State. Skills exams will be completed in our own in-facility test center, and students will have additional skills review days prior to their competency exams to further prepare for success. The WA State skills exam is included in tuition. (State Required Written is an additional fee and not included in tuition and taken on the students’ own computer at home.
Participants Must
- Be 18 years of age at the start of the program
- Have a clean background check
- Be physically capable of performing the essential duties of a NAC/CNA
- Attend 100% of class and clinical time
- Wear appropriate scrubs and shoes during class
Program Costs
- Cost is $1200 total. (Tuition $1000 + Lab Fees $150 + Book Fee $50)
- Book and Lab fees + $100 Administrative fee is non- refundable after registration.
