Pregnancy and childbirth are among life's biggest milestones, and we're here to make the journey easier. Providence OBGYNs deliver thousands of newborns every year, bringing deep experience to every step of your care. Whether you're trying to conceive, just found out you're expecting, or you're getting ready to welcome your baby, we'll be right by your side with the support you need.
Every birth story is different, and we're here to support the path that's right for you and your baby. We offer:
- Compassionate care for complex pregnancies, including support for multiple pregnancies and high-risk pregnancies that need extra monitoring and expertise.
- Labor management and delivery options, including trials of labor after cesarean (TOLAC) for women who have had a prior C-section and hope for a vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC).
- Level II special care nursery at Providence St. Peter Hospital to care for high-risk infants — including those with feeding or breathing problems, pre-term infants and those with serious medical conditions.
- OBGYNs and certified nurse midwives available around the clock to deliver next door at Centralia Hospital’s Family Birth Center and St. Peter’s Family Birth Center — so comprehensive labor and delivery care is always there when you need it.
- Postpartum and breastfeeding support, including one-on-one breastfeeding guidance and follow-up classes to support you and your baby along the way. Mothers delivering at Providence Centralia Hospital or Providence St. Peter Hospital receive nursing support. Lactation Consultant services are available at Providence St. Peter Hospital. Breast pump equipment is also available to rent through the volunteer's office.

Working in partnership with you, we guide you through every step of your breast health journey. We support you with free risk assessments as well as regular, age-appropriate exams, yearly mammograms and follow-up appointments.
Our breast care services include:
- 3D mammography
- Screening and diagnostic procedures to diagnose abnormal breast tissue, including ultrasounds, biopsies and breast needle localization
- Breast patient navigators to meet with you and discuss any needed diagnostic procedures and treatment
- Breast surgery
If breast screening indicates a potential need for surgery, our team at Centralia General Surgery can complete a full diagnosis of breast concerns or abnormalities and advise on treatment options. In addition, we work closely with you so you can understand potential risk for future breast issues, including the risk for breast cancer.
Pelvic floor disorders (PFD) affect one in three women. The good news is that PFD can be treated successfully with the help of a specialist. Urogynecologists are fellowship-trained to diagnose and treat women with pelvic floor disorders.
Our urogynecologists offer expert treatment for pelvic floor disorders, including:
- Urinary incontinence (including stress incontinence)
- Pelvic organ prolapse or dropping of the pelvic organs
- Fecal incontinence or accidental bowel leakage
- Pelvic mesh related problems
- Painful bladder or interstitial cystitis
- In-office diagnostic and treatment options
To understand what's causing your symptoms and build the right treatment plan, we may recommend diagnostic testing such as urodynamic testing, cystoscopy, or trans-perineal ultrasound — all performed right here in our office, so you can feel more at ease throughout the process.
Depending on your diagnosis, non-surgical treatment may include pelvic floor physical therapy, tibial nerve stimulation, bladder instillations, or Botox — options that are often effective at relieving symptoms while keeping recovery simple.
When conservative treatments like pelvic floor therapy, medications, or pessaries aren't enough to manage pelvic floor disorders (PFD), a range of minimally invasive surgical options can offer lasting relief, including:
- Mid-urethral sling: A minimally invasive procedure using small incisions to place a supportive strip of mesh beneath the urethra, helping reduce or eliminate leakage from stress incontinence.
- Sacral neuromodulation: A long-term option for bladder or bowel symptoms that haven't responded to other treatments where a small, implanted device gently stimulates the sacral nerve to restore normal bladder control.
