At Providence Centralia Hospital, we know how exciting it is to think about the day when you welcome your new baby into the world. But we also know you could be feeling anxious and a little apprehensive. We work to make your entire experience — from pregnancy to delivery and beyond — as easy and worry-free as possible.
When you come to us, you’ll have expert medical care from a team eager to ease your concerns and share your joy. We’ll keep you comfortable, physically and emotionally.
Whether you’ve just learned you’re pregnant or you’re ready to give birth, Providence will be at your side with the tools and support you need.
If you’re like most moms-to-be, you probably have plenty of questions. You’re wondering what to expect, both before and during labor and after your baby arrives.
Our birthing classes provide answers. They’re designed for you and the person supporting you during labor to help put your minds at ease. Classes take place weekly over four weeks and are taught by registered nurses and certified birthing class instructors.
We cover everything from keeping you and your baby healthy and safe during pregnancy to the birthing process and caring for your little one once they arrive.
Classes are held on Wednesday evenings from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. in the basement classroom of the hospital. Use the north hospital entrance.
The Family Birth Center at Providence Centralia Hospital was built with your comfort in mind. We feature home-like private rooms with plenty of space to accommodate family and friends. For your convenience, each room has its own bathroom and shower.
Within our birthing unit, we offer a jacuzzi tub to ease pain during labor. If your little one needs extra care, we have a Special Care Nursery. You and your baby will have around-the-clock care to keep you comfortable and safe.
We invite you to take a tour of our birthing center. To schedule, call 360-330-8629.
