Providence Digestive Health Institute adds new providers

Providence Digestive Health Institute is growing its specialty care with the addition of two new providers. This expands access for patients needing diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of digestive health issues.
 
Dr. John J. Brandabur is a gastroenterology specialist with 30 years of experience. He graduated from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed internal residency training at Virginia Mason Medical Center. Dr. Brandabur completed fellowship training at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in advanced endoscopy, and gastroenterology and therapeutic endoscopy. Dr. Brandabur has received the Seattle Top Doc award multiple times, including in 2022.
 
Dr. Brandabur serves as Providence Digestive Health Executive Medical Co-Director. 
 
Dr. Matthew Berger is a gastroenterology specialist with experience in general gastroenterology and liver disease. Dr. Berger earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at Stony Brook University, his clinic nutrition fellowship at University of Chicago, and his gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at University of Rochester. 
 
Dr. Brandabur and Dr. Berger are both accepting patients with referral.
