The minimum score that CSON will accept for our program:
- 850 or higher HESI score
If the tester fails to meet the minimum score, they will have to retake the whole exam at a later date. Each tester will be allowed to take the HESI Fundamentals exam three times each application period. The HESI Fundamentals exam can only be taken at our location at the times that are on the registration page. Please note that this exam is not the same as the Traditional RN ATI TEAS Assessment exam.
Students will be emailed their test results 48 hours after completing the exam. You will need to print out your scores and place them in the application packet before turning the application packet in to the admissions committee.
There are many options available for students to study and prepare for the HESI Fundamentals of Nursing exam. We recommend the following two textbooks in addition to the suggested online videos.

If a tester needs to reschedule an exam, the tester will have to email Katie Martin or call 806-725-8949 no later than 24 hours before the scheduled exam time. There will be a $25 fee to reschedule an exam.
If the tester does not contact Mrs. Martin in the time frame, or does not show up for their scheduled exam, the tester will have to register for a future exam and pay the exam fee again.
