To ensure a smooth billing process, it is important that accurate and current contact and insurance information is provided to eliminate unnecessary delays. If you are uninsured, financial assistance is available to assist you with finding the right resources to help you obtain the care you need.
Insurance information will be verified and claims filed with your insurance company. It is recommended you speak to your insurance carrier prior to service to make sure you have a good understanding of your insurance benefits and plan requirements, such as pre-authorization, deductibles, and co-insurance amounts. If your insurance carrier is out of network for facility or professional services at Healdsburg Hospital, please feel free to contact us for assistance.
After your insurance carrier has made a final determination of your claim, a statement for any balance due will be sent. Paperless statement options and online bill pay are available for your convenience. Instructions for enrollment will be provided on your statement.
Professional services for Emergency Room, Cardiology services; such as EKG, all Clinics and Wound Care fees are part of your overall hospital bill.
All insured patients will be asked to pay their insurance co-pay or deductible upon registration. Acceptable arrangements for other out of pocket expenses will be required at that time.
All uninsured patients will be required to provide payment prior to receiving services or make sufficient arrangements. Healdsburg Hospital provides a 10% discount of your medically necessary services. Some elected services are excluded, such as optional cosmetic surgical procedures.
You will be contacted prior to service regarding any pre-service requirements or expected payments. Payment is due at the time of service. Cash, check, HSA and all major debit/ credit cards are accepted. Online bill pay is available for your convenience from this website.
You may receive a bill after your service is rendered for professional charges that are related to your visit but not billed by the hospital. Please contact these providers directly with questions regarding these bills.
A separate bill will be sent when you receive services from our Radiology Department.
Professional fees for surgical services such as the surgeon, anesthesiologist, consultant, etc. may be billed separately. Please contact those providers with questions on their billings. Refer to the statements received from those providers for their contact telephone number for questions on billing.
We understand that healthcare expenses are often overwhelming and unexpected. Our Patient Access staff is available to provide support and financial assistance when medical expenses become a financial hardship. The staff can assist you with payment arrangements, information regarding the California Exchange plans, application for various state or county programs or our Charity Care program.
